We had been out looking at houses for a number of weeks and had not settled on an agent yet because we were afraid we would feel pressured. It was our good fortune the day we met Rachel Barrett during our search! We immediately felt comfortable with Rachel and chose her as our agent. Not only was she a warm and friendly person whom immediately put us at ease, but also very professional, knowledgeable and a very good teacher.

Over the next year my wife and I looked at many, many houses; looking for THE ONE and ONLY house for us. With each viewing Rachel was there, usually before we arrived; inspecting the house so that she could point out the good things as well as the bad things we should take into account. As I have said, she is a great teacher.

With her help we found our house. On the day of our final walk through before signing the papers we came upon a disaster. A main water pipe had broken in the upstairs bathroom and water was pouring into the kitchen through the collapsed ceiling. After shutting off the main water supply Rachel was immediately on the phone contacting all necessary parties. She was instrumental in making sure that our best interests were covered before any papers were signed. Because of the extent of the damage it was several months before we could move in, and in all that time Rachael kept in touch with us as well as periodically checking in on the reconstruction progress. How many agents would go that extra mile? I do not think many.

Because Rachel helped us find our perfect home, we have no intention of ever moving again. But, should the need to move arise, would we use Rachel Barrett as our realtor again? .That would be a definite YES! Would we recommend her to others? ABSOLUTELY! She is a hard working professional realtor who we were lucky enough to have as our agent and our friend.
